Entwined Publishing is seeking experienced Content Editors specialising in all subgenres of romance fiction.

We publish a wide range of romance and romantica—contemporary, small-town, billionaire, celebrity, royalty, dark romance, BDSM, reverse harem, paranormal, vampire, shifter, queer romance, and more.
We are looking for editors who understand the nuance, voice, and emotional beats that romance readers expect across MF, MM, and multi-partner pairings.

Our ideal Content Editors can refine story structure, strengthen character arcs, ensure genre-appropriate pacing, and elevate manuscripts while preserving each author’s unique voice.

Requirements include:

♡ Professional experience editing romance or romantica fiction.
♡ Strong understanding of romance tropes, heat levels, and subgenre conventions.
♡ Excellent grasp of either American or British English (depending on project), with sensitivity to regional language and colloquialisms.
♡ Ability to use Word Track Changes confidently and cleanly.
♡ Comfort editing LGBTQ+ and high-heat romantica content.
♡ Ability to act as the main point of contact for the author throughout the editing process, maintaining clear, supportive communication.
♡ Willingness to work directly with authors during edits to ensure clarity, consistency, and smooth project progress.
♡ Ability to work collaboratively with the Totally Entwined Group publishing team.
♡ Reliability in meeting deadlines and communicating clearly.
♡ A supportive, team-focused approach and willingness to take direction where needed.
