Our publishing roots stretch back twnty years. During that time, we have worked with hundreds of authors and published thousands of romance titles for readers worldwide.

We combine the support of a traditional publisher with a modern, digital-first approach. Our focus is on professional editing, quality production, worldwide distribution, targeted marketing and helping authors build long-term careers.

No. We welcome submissions from both agented and unagented authors.

Yes. We consider both unpublished and may consider previously published works, depending on the situation. Please disclose any previous publication history when submitting.

Yes, but please notify us immediately if your manuscript is accepted elsewhere.

Yes. However, we recommend submitting your strongest project first.

Our agreements cover worldwide publishing rights in all formats. Specific rights granted will always be outlined clearly in your contract.

Contract terms vary depending on the project and agreement type, but a standard contract is generally four years. Full details will be provided before signing.

Yes. Authors retain copyright to their work. We acquire publishing rights under licence as specified in the publishing agreement.

Our contracts contain reversion clauses outlining the circumstances under which rights may be reverted. Details can be found within your publishing agreement.

Yes. Many of our authors publish with multiple publishers or self-publish other projects, provided there is no conflict with the rights granted to us.

Yes. All accepted manuscripts go through our editorial process, which may include developmental editing, copy editing and proofreading as appropriate.

Our professional cover designers create covers tailored to the market and genre expectations while working within our publishing strategy.

Authors are involved in the cover process and are invited to provide input. Final cover decisions remain with the publisher to ensure commercial effectiveness and brand consistency.

Many titles are released in both digital and print formats. Format decisions are made based on market suitability and publishing strategy.

We selectively publish audiobooks where commercially viable.

Royalties are calculated according to your publishing agreement and paid monthly on a regular reporting schedule.

Royalty statements are issued monthly according to the schedule outlined in your contract.

Entwined Publishing contracts are royalty-based rather than advance-paying. As a digital first publisher this allows us to invest resources into production, marketing and long-term author support.

Authors receive royalty statements detailing sales and earnings for the reporting period.

Yes. Successful publishing works best as a partnership. We encourage authors to maintain an active online presence and engage with readers whenever possible.

We strongly recommend it. An author platform can significantly improve discoverability and long-term career growth.

Yes. We provide guidance, promotional opportunities and marketing support designed to help authors connect with readers and grow their readership over time. We also provide our authors with free access to our BookBooster platform to manage social posting, email marketing, and (coming soon) Ads management.

Our books are distributed through all major retailers and library channels worldwide, which includes Amazon, Apple Books, Kobo, Barnes & Noble, Google Play Books, subscription services and library suppliers. Availability may vary by territory and retailer.

Yes. We distribute worldwide whenever possible.

Distribution strategies vary by title, series and market conditions. Decisions are made based on what is expected to generate the best results for authors and readers.

We believe technology should support publishing, not replace creativity. We do not use AI to write books, edit manuscripts or create cover art in place of human professionals.

No. We actively support efforts to protect author intellectual property and do not knowingly permit the use of our catalogue for AI training.

In some circumstances, AI-assisted narration or translation may be considered where it would otherwise be commercially unfeasible to produce those editions. Authors are consulted before such editions are produced and opt out options are available.

We may use AI-powered tools to assist with marketing workflows, analytics, scheduling and business operations. Human oversight remains central to all marketing decisions.

Once accepted, your manuscript enters our production schedule. You'll work with our editorial team through editing, cover development, production and publication. We will set up an author portal for your use where you can benefit from multiple author tools and training to assist you on your publishing journey, set up promotions, manage your titles, and liaise with our team.

Timelines vary depending on production schedules, editorial requirements and release planning. The publishing team will discuss timelines with you throughout the process.

Yes. We believe communication is important and encourage authors to reach out when they have questions or concerns.

We look for compelling stories, strong characters, emotional engagement, professional presentation and books with commercial potential within their genre.

Common reasons include not fitting our current publishing needs, market saturation within a particular niche, significant editorial concerns, lack of commercial fit or similarity to existing projects. A rejection does not necessarily mean the manuscript lacks merit.

In some circumstances, yes. If substantial revisions have been made, we may be happy to review the work again.
